Legacy Soars with Super Cub Donation

Founding board member Donald McDonald donated his PA-18 Super Cub to the Sattler Foundation

  • The Super Cub is a light, single-engine aircraft known for its versatility.
  • It was originally designed by Piper Aircraft in the 1940s.
  • The plane is popular for bush flying, thanks to its short takeoff and landing capabilities.
  • It features a high-wing design, providing excellent visibility and stability.
  • The Super Cub is often used for flight training, recreational flying, and agricultural purposes..

The foundation expects to fly youth at EAA 863 Young Eagle Days and use it as a static display at local events to help recruit sudents to our Sattler camps.

Thank you Donald! We appreciate your continuing support of the Sattler Foundation.
