2025 Sattler SUMMER CAMPS

Junior Aerospace Camp

8th-9th graders


This camp is designed to introduce students to aerospace basics, such as parts of aircraft and function and design.


Students will meet with aviation experts, aircraft builders, and weather experts. Students will also build flying models and fly a plane… by simulator. The camp week ends with an introductory Young Eagles Flight in a general aviation aircraft, sponsored by EAA Chapter 863.


June 9-13, 2025

Monday 8am - 3:30pm

Senior Exploration Camp

10-12th graders


This camp is designed to introduce students to careers in the fields of aviation and aerospace and educational avenues.


Camp students will visit the Nashville International Airport, Middle Tennessee State University’s Department of Aerospace and local aviation museums and industries.


June 2-6, 2025

Monday 8:30am - 3:30pm

Tuesday & Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm

Wednesday & Thursday 7:45am - 4pm
